I managed to cast on 257 stitches, that took a lot of counting! One of my half‑liter cups broke, but I found this one as a substitute. I love large mugs; only 4 cups of tea a day and I’m hydrated 😄

I found a working name for this design: Zeeaster! The second ball of yarn is completely knit up, so I attached the third ball to complete the repeat of the patterning 😃

Usually, I write my draft pattern, including charts before even casting on a stitch. That way, my own project also acts as a knitting test of sorts. When on vacation, however, I go old school 😁
