So far there's been a lot of nerdy debate about whether they've been teleported, injected into a VR, warped to an alternate Earth, etc.
Interspersed with "Nonsense. Fiddle-dee dee. Ladeeda and falderall." And then back to "can we assume a compass, if we had one, would even work here?"
