Given that it existed before 🇨🇦 , that the province takes its name from the lake, & "Ontario" is from a Wyandot word

The 'Seneca Chief' is now in the Mohawk Watershed, on its symbolic journey along the length of the Erie Canal. At stops along the way, we are reminded that the Canal had profound impacts on the Haudenosaunee, and it has become a pathway for invasive species.
