This guy has spent nearly a year hyping up lamotrigine and what a difference he thinks lamotrigine will make for me and I don't want to engage in drug seeking behaviour but I think at this point I have a right to say "you keep recommending lamotrigine. How about you actually prescribe it to me?"
Psychiatrists love to be all "I know I said last appointment we'd change your meds, but with your divorce and insecure housing and extreme dysregulation, I don't want to throw a medication adjustment into the mix. Let's circle back in 3 months" and the meds you were waiting to start are lamotrigine

My anecdotal evidence feels COMPELLING that we need to seriously consider lamotrigine as a first line treatment before SSRI's & I am not ready to learn how to publish.

I went from being out of lamotrigine to randomly being out of Seroquel and while the withdrawals are much more awful with lamotrigine, not having Seroquel means zero sleep and I'm on day two of it.
