I was just reading about the Ku Klux Klan. It's second iteration, after the First World War, was more prejudiced against Catholics than Blacks. When I wrote for Landover Baptist, all the other writers had grown up Baptist hearing Catholics called "unchristian Mary Worshipers." That's the MAGA base.

When I used to write for the "Landover Baptist Church" parody site, I was the only writer who wasn't from a Southern Baptist background. The other writers taught me that someone like Mike Johnson would have no respect for "Catholic Mary Worhipers" and probably wouldn't regard them as Christians.
