Jimothy is a Landstrider from The Dark Crystal. Jim Henson nailed the body shape and limb motion.

A Mystic and a Landstrider from #DarkCrystal

I wanted the Mystic to be flowy and earthy looking. I simplified away some of the details in its design and let the paint do a lot of the talking for me, which I really like.

The Landstrider was just 100% a challenge ahaha

From my collection - this is a version of the Landstrider made by Mindstyle. It's plastic and stands a little of a foot tall on its base with a model of Jen riding. #DarkCrystal

Rewatching "The Dark Crystal" thanks to @tkingfisher.com 's posts, and remembered how I pretended to be a landstrider when I was on crutches after surgery to straighten my legs as a kid.
