Kindle Scribeは古いファームウェアバージョン(5.16.2.1.1まで)ならLanguageBreakで脱獄できたらしい。でも、バージョンアップで何か改善されるだろうとバージョンを上げてしまっていて、脱獄も出来ずって状態が続いてたけど、今年の年明け早々に発表されたWinterBreakが福音になった。これのお陰で、KOReaderが使えるようになって、とりあえず大判のモノクロ端末で自炊本がコントラスト調整して読めるようになった。KOReaderはペン対応はされてないので、ペン書きは諦めてるけどね。

LanguageBreakがファームウェア5.16.2.1.1より後で封じられて、にっちもさっちもいかん状態だったけど、元旦に発表されたWinterBreak、成功してる報告がそれなりに出揃ったので、チャレンジ。ちょっと手数が多いけど、問題なく脱獄成功😁
KUAL(Kindle Unified Application Launcher)とMRPI(MobileRead Package Installer)もインストール出来た。
これでKOReaderが入れられるのかな?
