I only had Laphroaig. It's given it a very peaty flavour. Quite pleased with it.

I actually joined Costco because I heard about this. Turns out their frame selection is not good for me and I ended up just ordering cheapies online once I got my rx. Even the optometrist told me not to bother.
But hey, now I get Laphroaig for like $35-45 when they have it 😅

I forgot I had these little rum bottles. The number relates to the Advent calendar (don't mention the c word). This one is 3yo Trinidadian Rum aged in Kölsch ex-Laphroaig barrels. You can imagine how tasty it is.

Fun fact: I read that novel when I was about 13, and it was the first time I ever heard of Laphroaig. It intrigued me, and when I eventually tried it nine years later it instantly became my favorite Scotch. Kinda wish I were drinking it now.

But... it's like a cross between a full on peaty Laphroaig while softened by a Speyside. And while I say softened... it's not at all *soft*. Just more rounded and less harsh. If that makes any sense at all.
