This indigo blue bearded iris bud has just started to unfurl yesterday. In March I split a single plant from a cluster & planted it in a sunnier spot. It is putting out 3 buds now.

Oriental lilies season was short but sweet. I cross pollinated this yellow lily with white lilies and now I am just waiting for the seed pods to mature.

A 6 petals star shaped spotted pink stargazer lily or Oriental lily. The deep pink petals edges are white with maroon spots on the surface of the petals. There are 6 yellowish stamens with golden brown pollen on the anthers coming out of yellow green throat of the flower.

Nope..No Tacos, just sunflowers.

These are sunflowers on a multi flowering plant. It is a dwarf type with big flowers and it still did well at a partly shaded spot. Took just 1 flower for seeds.

Every part of the angel trumpet is highly poisonous, including the leaves, flowers, seeds and roots. It’s so pretty though.
