At most law firms and legal jobs I’ve worked at I eventually get pigeonholed as the person who gets all the “weird” cases. And, so far, the same is true at my current firm.

Ms. Decker raised, among other arguments, a defense she likes to call the “Isaac Newton Defense”, aka the falling pinecone was not a condition that was "created” by anyone, it was not something caused by neglect, and it was not an inherently dangerous condition.
