Also, also: always happy to talk custom commission modelmaking. It might not be as scarily priced as you'd think (though a lifesized dinosaur will still cost you £tens of thousands), especially if there's a long leadtime or no deadline.
see my oft-repeated story about Maidstone museum asking us to price up building a lifesized Iguanodon for them, and only telling us their budget (£5k) after we'd spent a day building the estimate.

Problem with all interceptors are though that the leadtime is long for them, and the same goes for the US.

Once again SPC showing they are the best in the business . 6 days leadtime for yesterday. Add to that the amazing work by the WFOs messaging the threat and then issuing the warnings. Proud to be part of an agency doing such great work! And that was the first of several high impact days this week!

I just looked at that warning and I see a PDS warning with 40 minutes of leadtime. Any fatalities from weather are tragic, but what the fuck is that guy going on about? PDS/considerable TOR warnings imply an EF-2+ tornado and aren’t meant to be taken lightly.

all our product had a 2-wk leadtime. at one point on a management call i said "if we want to hit these quotas for this month, we need to make the product this week or it won't be ready until next month." i then had to spend 1 hr explaining to the sales manager what a 2-wk leadtime means bc

My only concern Ken is that the courts distrust of the DOJ will last long after the end of this administration.
Which coupled with the fact that we will have to rebuild it from scratch means that any criminal acts in this administration will have a lot of leadtime to GTHO before a case can be made.

Nearly all foreign brands don’t necessarily make in their own countries anymore because of import tariffs and just different models being popular in different regions - shipping and leadtime logistics
