Remembering the Leakira Cyberpunk AU where Shiro was renamed for a dog and the Galra were Muslim coded and no one saw a damn thing wrong with either of these things 😐
I just can’t stand seeing so many people try to make excuses now. No, you guys were crazy, and you were wrong. Just admit you were wrong about a lot of things. And also participated in a lot of misogynistic and racist hate campaigns lmao

to be fair there were actually like a handful of leakira AUs and they all made *different* mistakes but there were definitely Mistakes Made.
the funniest part was when one of these aus claimed to be fundraising to buy the voltron rights, though

@jenosonbsky.bsky.social you should absolutely do a video on that Voltron Leakira AU that came out after season 7, that shit was soooo funny in retrospect
Even as a fanfic writer, people should be mindful of depicting marginalized groups that they are not apart of and maybe, just maaaaaaaybe not publish that Antebellum slavery Reylo AU or depict the Galra as Muslim coded in their Voltron cyberpunk AU if they're white

Kinna like.. Leakira Lance? But still in the VLD universe
Lance goes out one day to a space mall and gets a hair cut and comes back all fresh and sparkly and teases Keith to the ends of the universe that he should have gone instead (but they both know Keith loves getting
