Years ago I climbed Arthur’s Seat above Edinburgh. From that summit, the world felt ancient and immense. That moment became my poem “Universe.”

Years ago, I stood on Arthur’s Seat—the ancient volcanic summit overlooking Edinburgh—with the wind rushing past and the entire city spread below me.
