And one more extinct deer, Libralces gallicus. This was an early member of the moose lineage from Pliocene Europe. It was about 5 feet at the shoulder, the size of a wapiti, and had antlers with a very long beam terminating in a small palm. This individual is warding of a hyaena, Chasmaporthetes.

Paleo Fact!

Libralces (name meaning is unknown) is an extinct cervid from Pliocene Eurasia! It had extraordinarily long antlers, each one being over 2 meters in length, reaching similar sizes to the antlers of Megaloceros! It's actually speculated to be an ancestor of- (1/2)
