libvips est une bibliothèque écrite en C permettant de faire du traitement d'images rapidement et surtout en consommant très peu de ressources, notamment très peu de mémoire. Peut être pratique dans des environnement contraints en ressources ⬇️

dear distro package maintainers: when packaging libvips, _please_ ensure that you are marking _cgif_ as a dependency and not _giflib_
libvips doesn't use giflib! it uses cgif and a vendored libnsgif for handling the format!! you are shipping a package with broken gif encoding support!!!!
