Within the Mayall's Object galaxy, trader of the Likart race trade miniature planets. The Licart are creatures without any form of government or common center. Their homeworld, similar to Yavroapi, was destroyed by a catastrophe: the star around which their planet orbited exploded, leaving the Likart homeless and wandering the universe. Soon, they split into two "groups"—ordinary workers—Licarts who decided to adapt to life among other intelligent races, and "planet traders"—local black market traders who steal and then sell planets for considerable sums.
