I'm conscious that a lot of the stuff I've linked here has been very pricey but we are six years into cat ownership and dipping into house savings. When we got cat 1 she had a plastic litter tray, a lickimat, cardboard box beds, one tower and a plastic water bowl. And Pet Insurance! This is extra.

Anyone got any tips for trying to keep a dog awake until bed time. She’s slept most of the day but trying to keep her up. We gave her a lickimat. She jumped in the pool outside once, I played a sniffing & a guess which hand the treat is in game & then I brushed her. But all that took only an hour.

Have you tried a snufflemat or snuffleball? Similar to the lickimat I guess, but our dog likes it.

Picked up a lickimat for Pretzel since she's a super vacuum when it comes to food. So far, it looks like a hit! It's kept her occupied for about 20 minutes as opposed to fifteen seconds.

She has one of those bobble toys that the food falls out of, and I use that for Greenie teeth treats after dinner if the brushing and playing absolutely fails. She also has a lickimat for wet food which is hit or miss. She doesn't trust me not to drug her wet food with gabapentin anymore. 😂

Oh I think we have a lickimat somewhere. Maybe we'll get that ready for tomorrow. Today we have bought him a birthday cupcake and a veggie toothbrush treat he chose himself. And new toys, obviously!

One of our cats (Clem) immediately throws up after eating about once a week. It usually seems to be a result of him eating too fast, or from drinking a ton of water right after eating. But I got a "lickimat" for his wet food and a puzzle feeder for dry food and sometimes he STILL throws up.

Tessa’s and Twiggy’s feeding schedules don’t match right now. Tessa gets her dinner undisturbed and Twiggy is busy sorting out a lickimat.

We are grateful to Lickimat for the enormous parcel of goodies that arrived today.
They’re for us to give to dogs who have received grants from us, & we will feel will benefit from a little distraction.
We have someone in mind already - Miss Herbie, are you reading this??

Someone is looking quite enriched this afternoon...it's Little Golden-Mantled Flying Fox, Tyrant! 🦇While many of us may recognize the LickiMat as a common enrichment item for our pets at home, they are also a valuable enrichment item for the bats at Lubee! The fruit bats at Lubeehave long pollinator
