three felix gonzalez torres works installed in the white marble floored vaulted hall of the reina sofia in madrid include a blue stack of poster sized paper, untitled loverboy, a curtain of lightstrings hanging from the ceiling and pooling on the floor, and a thin green line running along the top of the two side walls, which contains the text based portrait of austrian airlines, as altered by curator nancy spector.

Michael Jenkins made this drawing of a light string in 1992, the same year his friend and collaborator Felix Gonzalez-Torres started making lightstrings. I, for one, would like to know more. greg.org/archive/2026...
