This weekend I made a maker’s mat from lillyella’s pattern. I really like how it turned out. My friend Terrie cut the dragonfly and appliquéd it for me. #making #sewing #quilting #lilyellapattern #quiltsky
Quilted mat to sit under a sewing machine with pockets at the front to hang down and hold supplies. The pockets are decorated, some made from fabric selvages, one with an appliquéd dragonfly. The main fabric has sewing pins as the print and overall the project is in pinks and blues. A light blue quilted fabric decorated with sewing pins being bound with pink polka-dotted fabric. Project on sewing machine with a row of pockets being sewn to a quilted fabric. The pockets are decorated, some made from fabric selvages, one with an appliquéd dragonfly.
