This should be a wake up call for the industry. The Lincolnite was one of the shining lights of local indy journalism in the UK and has now gone under. There are many others, including us at Social Spider, that need help to survive.

Yeah, what the hell… especially cause this is like deep Lincolnite territory. I knew old folks growing up who said people used to get their shit rocked if they suggested any sort of Dixie sympathies whatsoever. Like people got shunned by entire towns if they were caught voting for Woodrow Wilson.
