The Lioré et Olivier LeO 45 was a bomber built by the French manufacturer Lioré et Olivier, the prototype of which first flew on 16 January 1937. It was probably the best French bomber of WWII. It was very fast, with a maximum speed of nearly 500km/h and was used until 1957.

The great Josephine Baker on the wing of a Lioré and Olivier 213 "Rayon d'or" from Air-Union at Le Bourget. This American nationalised Frenchwoman was passionate about aviation, and even obtained her pilot's licence in 1937.
