2. Banks are preparing for an outflow of deposits caused by Trump's threat to impose sanctions
3. The liquidity deficit is caused by the payment of taxes on July 25-28, and a short-term liquidity gap.

This is +500-600%
And budget revenues have grown by 50-60% over 2 years
And then there should be a liquidity gap. This means the Ministry of Finance will stop fulfilling its previously assumed obligations. Then - bankruptcy - collapse - default!

There is currently a 3.6%pt gap between consumers’ 1-year inflation expectations and 1y inflation swaps, among the widest on record.

All the other gaps this big have occurred amid out-and-out liquidity crises.

We should not tax income. We should tax the accumulation of wealth, and close the gap between collateral and liquidity. (a person who has collateral to borrow tens or hundreds of millions but who doesn't have liquid assets should not be exempt from taxation)

Intelligence is the next asset class.

But without a liquidity layer, it doesn’t move.
Data alone isn’t enough, it needs to be queryable, governed, and economically active for agents.

That’s the gap we’re solving at Inflectiv.

Anthropic may have closed the revenue gap on OpenAI. Here's what it means for their IPOs
The timing is starting to crystallize for a trio of mega-IPOs, and for those hoping to get some liquidity out of other AI companies going public, there may not be enough investor appetite to go around this year.

Ok. So if I’m reading this right, Federal Treasury deposits are providing the bulk of liquidity, meaning they haven’t paid their expenses incurred yet.

The Central Bank will have to create money to plug the gap. This is so sus.

Also, Dom.RF chair abruptly resigned today.

Exactly. Liquidity looks abundant until everyone needs the exit at the same time. That’s why we’re watching the gap between resilient equities and still-weak bonds and real estate.

Gotta take liquidity preference seriously in these markets - cash buffers can quickly get eroded and forced selling relatively illiquid assets can either cause pricing to gap out even more aggressively and/or force you into negative selection bias (people sell what they can; left holding dogs).

Liquidity up. $BTC down.

The gap is widening.

KOSPI demand zone mitigated on weekly and daily. A cluster of lows near 6,000 looks like a liquidity trap — a gap sits right there too. That level likely gets swept before any recovery can hold. dashboard.tradingsuite.io/bs

2/3 For #billionaires, wealth is liquidity itself: untaxed billions, endlessly #compounding, deployed to buy the very #homes others cannot sell. Thus the gap is wider than the graphs admit, and the danger greater than the establishment economists concede.

3/3 ... effectively monetising stress and adding ruble-liquidity, with more inflation and FX-risk down the road.

I am quite sure there will be big repo based spikes in Nov or December to close the liquidity gap. RU FX devaluation and more inflation are coming in 2026 + less oil revenues in Russia.
