A few days under a number of bricks 🧱 I have loved this project #fodderschool #januaryfodderschool4 #lizconstable #bookbinding #artjournal

At last, the cover is done and pages all collected and in one place. Tomorrow we punch and sew! 🧵 🪡 #fodderschool #januaryfodderschool4 #lizconstable

And done! Done with mostly blank pages in 8 X 8 (approximately) inches, with a variety of drawing, and watercolor papers. I love it! 🥰 I love to paint, write and draw, so this will last me for a while. #januaryfodderschool4 #lizconstable #bookbinding

Finally. My six signatures with my cover paper. I’m pulling this all together tomorrow while I cry for our country and eat my feelings.

Finished bookbinding this mixed media handmade book for #fodderschool4, lesson by #lizconstable. "Attention all shipping"with a shipping forecast theme as maps were the substrate for the pages & cover. Embellished with paint, printing with found objects, stamping & a lot of fun!

Anyone else here doing mixed media course #fodderschool4 ? Mixed media master sheets ready to be cut up for bookbinding for #lizconstable lesson. With a map as a substrate I chose a UK shipping forecast theme. Little did I know when I made these 2 weeks ago the most ferocious storm was coming! 📔🎨
