'99年のル・マンでGT1クラスを撤廃してLMGTPにするよーって事になった時にR8C(屋根あり)とR8R(屋根なし)の両方作って走らせたんだな。僕は大好きだったGT1クラスが無くなってしょんぼりしてたってのを思い出した(´・ω・｀)
LMP1もオープン走ってた時期があった。もしかして今もだったりするのかな? 個人の好みだけで言うと圧倒的に屋根ある車が好きなので実はあまり詳しくはない…。なんかアウディが昔屋根あり/なし 両方出場させてたような記憶があるけど、その時も「何で1台屋根とっちゃうの(´・ω・｀)」って思ってた。でも、このルールの為にしゃあなしで設けた助手席の扱いに苦慮してる様子はめちゃくちゃ好き。この車両なんか助手席のヘッドレスト部が吸気口だし、ロールバーも運転席側にしか無い。こういうの大好き(´・ω・｀)

In 1998 only one of the 3 cars crossed the Le Mans 24 Hours finish line. It lead the race for a long time but ended in 9th place.
