I’ve played LMoP & run a good chunk of DoIP (Haven’t run Stormwrack. I read the adventure and thought it sucked.) HotB blows both of them out of the water! There is NO prep required. All the encounter maps are ready to go!

This. #TTRPG release from @koboldpress.com has mostly flown under the radar. It’s a starter adventure for Tales of the Valiant that seems to me to be on the level of LMoP in scope and scale and breath of tiers of play. I’m really looking forward to digging into it.

Years ago: D&D5e; LMoP, using premades. I had the human fighter (noble background). DM LOVED fumble rules. Despite my best efforts, I ended up almost hitting my party members with my greataxe a few times.
We TPK'ed. For our next game, I made my first coffeelock. I don't like fumble rules.

Running LMoP for the wife and kids. Going well so far. I’m thinking of substituting a few side quests from DoIP (keep Thundertree and Cragmaw). Logger’s Camp, Butterskull, Falcon’s Hunting Lodge look attractive

I always wondered like how would you know you’re allergic before using it?? wouldn’t it make more sense to say “don’t use xyz if you’re allergic to abc or lmop, as it contains it” or sum

I was watching a commercial for a drug and it said “don’t use ___ if you’re allergic to it” and that pissed me off cuz how I’m supposed to know I’m allergic if I don’t know what’s in it?
