Gareth Sager’s new single Born Stubborn is out there NOW. Obvious echoes of Gareth’s previous agitation with The Pop Group/Rip Rig & Panic, Born Stubborn is the lead track from his forthcoming album, Lies & Lullabies, available for pre-order from LNFG:

(looks like they broke with lnfg for their final album — lots of acts have left them, for various reasons, and not been able to speak publicly about it)
sad for the death of john douglas, & sad that latter-day sinatras were hoovered up by the toxic, transphobic lnfg empire. too many people either unaware of ian & julia smith’s & gary sloane’s bigotry, or aware & prepared to gamble that transphobia is a niche & acceptable enough hatred to pass

Massive kudos to Last Night From Glasgow for having 3 LPs in the Official Scottish Album Charts. FO Machete, Gates of Light & Gareth Sager are all in the top 10. The fact that LNFG gets Creeping Bent LPs in the Official Album Charts shows what a brilliant job they are doing for Scottish artists.
