Wetland restoration is pretty much paramount but I’m remembering restoration by Logboom Park that led to a lot of folks going “EWWWWW BUT THE SMELL WHEN THE WATER LEVEL DROPS” yes that is something a wetland can do and this is what you wanted

Love living in the San Juans now, but do kinda miss Wallace Creek and Logboom Parks as well as kayaking the slough.

Kenmore Pump Station and Logboom Storage/Regulator Station is, yes, but there’s also a lot of reserve capacity at Matthews Park Pump Station located just down the line in Seattle proper.
