Cookies in actix web
I'm trying to implement jwt auth with cookies rn Using actix-web and actix-cors I tried doing it through authorization header and it works perfectly But as im trying to pass token through cookie it doesn't seem to appear in browser storage eg cookies. pub async fn login(db: web::Data<PgPool>, input: web::Json<LoginForm>) -> impl Responder { let res = user_service::login(&db, input.0).await; match res { Ok(res) => { let cookie = Cookie::build("jwt_token", res.1) .http_only(true) .secure(false) .same_site(actix_web::cookie::SameSite::Strict) .finish(); return HttpResponse::Ok() //.append_header(("Authorization", res.1)) .cookie(cookie) .json(serde_json::json!(res.0)) }, Err(_err) => return Error::InternalError.error_response(), } } its just a draft so dont mine me using internal errors. res is tuple (User, string) Also from insomnia cookies work fine From what browser gets i can clearly see my server does send cookie there HTTP/1.1 200 OK content-length: 106 access-control-allow-origin: http://localhost:5173 vary: Origin, Access-Control-Request-Method, Access-Control-Request-Headers content-type: application/json set-cookie: jwt_token=eyJ0eXAiOiJKV1QiLCJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJ1c2VyX3V1aWQiOiI0MzA3ZmE5ZS1mZDg2LTRiNTYtYTlmNC1jOWFmYmRkZjU3MjQiLCJleHAiOjE3MzY1MDM5NTh9._ganyuZNnliMrIfAjLiIb0TyY1VVDDSqdwcAsSOYTYk; HttpOnly; SameSite=Strict; Path=/login; Domain=localhost access-control-expose-headers: set-cookie, access-control-allow-origin, content-type access-control-allow-credentials: true date: Tue, 10 Dec 2024 10:13:38 GMT But i don't know why it doesn't appear in storage. I also tried to set http_only to false, still nothing Is there something im missing?

Introducing react-chousy: Your New Go-To React Dropdown Component 🎉
# React Chousy: Clean Conditional Rendering for Modern React Apps Are you tired of scattered ternary operators cluttering your JSX? Meet **react-chousy** — a lightweight utility that transforms messy conditional rendering into clean, readable code. ## The Problem We All Face We've all written code like this: {isLoggedIn ? ( hasProfile ? ( <UserProfile /> ) : ( <SetupProfile /> ) ) : ( <LoginForm /> )} It works, but it's not pretty. As conditions nest deeper, readability suffers and maintenance becomes a nightmare. ## The Solution: Declarative Conditional Rendering React Chousy introduces a JSX-friendly approach that makes your intentions crystal clear: import { ConditionalRender } from 'react-chousy'; <ConditionalRender condition={isLoggedIn}> {{ true: <UserDashboard />, false: <LoginForm /> }} </ConditionalRender> ## Key Features That Matter * **🪶 Ultra-lightweight** : Only ~300 bytes gzipped * **📘 TypeScript native** : Full type safety out of the box * **🌳 Tree-shakable** : Import only what you need * **🔧 Zero dependencies** : No bloat, just functionality * **⚡ Performance** : No runtime overhead ## Real-World Example Here's how it handles complex nested conditions: <ConditionalRender condition={user.isAuthenticated}> {{ true: ( <ConditionalRender condition={user.hasCompletedOnboarding}> {{ true: <MainApplication />, false: <OnboardingFlow /> }} </ConditionalRender> ), false: <AuthenticationScreen /> }} </ConditionalRender> Compare this with traditional ternary operators — the difference in readability is striking. ## Installation & Usage npm install react-chousy import { ConditionalRender } from 'react-chousy'; function App() { const [isLoading, setIsLoading] = useState(false); return ( <ConditionalRender condition={isLoading}> {{ true: <LoadingSpinner />, false: <MainContent /> }} </ConditionalRender> ); } ## Why Choose React Chousy? **Readability First** : Code should tell a story. React Chousy makes conditional logic self-documenting. **Maintainable** : Clear structure means easier refactoring and fewer bugs during updates. **Team-Friendly** : New developers can understand complex conditions at a glance. **Production-Ready** : Minimal bundle impact with maximum developer experience benefits. ## Perfect For * Complex authentication flows * Multi-step forms and wizards * Feature flagging implementations * Loading and error state management * Any scenario with nested conditionals ## Get Started Today React Chousy proves that small utilities can have big impacts on code quality. If you're building React applications and value clean, maintainable code, give it a try. **Links:** * NPM Package * GitHub Repository What's your go-to approach for handling complex conditional rendering?
