The first Wheatear of spring is always special! This one arrived by the Observatory mid-morning. A Little Ringed Plover flew north early morning, never an easy species along the coast.

One of the better days at #longnab ! There's been so many dire days this spring. The excitement of a small harrier approaching from the north....no time wasted getting lots of photos (Montys)! then a slow walk back and I noticed a female Red-backed Shrike on a distant hedge

Another failed attempt to find anything in the gullies yesterday but did manage a patch first...BASKING SHARK sailed south mid-morning. A ringtail Hen Harrier north over the sea was a bonus.

A few suspected sightings after the initial sightings. Today the 2 Shore Larks were back on the original bare patch near the car park. Wrong camera settings but better a photo than none!
