Well, with Ao3 down, think this might be a good time to form better habits as a writer. No more procrastinating by reading other people's work - gotta make my own.

I did a couple of sprints in The Break Room til like 3AM. #TBRFallBack has been a pretty good way for me to keep putting words on the page, and thus far - I've gotten at least 3.5k written for the second chapter of this fic.

This draft will be done today!

Next up for #Drawtober2026, I'll be working on the Ballad of the Shadow Prince! I started off with designing what our little prince will look like.

The depictions of the Shadow Prince Crea (pronounced 'Kree-Ah'/'Kree-Uh') in their three forms: true/spectral, shadow, and human/witch. They're the center focus of the poem series 'Ballad of the Shadow Prince'.

In the spirit of putting myself out there, I'm posting up the poetry series 'Autumn From The Otherside' over on #Tiktok! The latest one is Zero-Sum voiced over a timelapse of my latest art project.

Check out the series, and its predecessor!

do you ever think of my hands (and the harm they've caused)

An excerpt from 'do you ever think of my hands (and the harm they've caused)': “Well, if I can’t be on my feet, I might as well use my hands. It’s not like I didn’t do it before!” Her words echoed in the stillness afterward. Frustration ground itself to a fine point, the summit of a mountain of complaints she couldn’t begin to climb. Then, the temperature in the room cooled and her eyebrows raised. When left in silence, in darkness, she did as she always would and turned to her other senses. Zuko’s hand didn’t linger near her now. In fact, all of him seemed to recede as if he were trying to make himself smaller. Her brows knitted together, then her eyebrows raised. Oh. An intro card to the fic 'do you ever think of my hands (and the harm they've caused)' with the underlying summary. Not being able to use her feet sucked, and Toph knew the irritation doubled by the fact she was carrying another human being made her horrible company. Thankfully, Zuko didn't seem to mind at all. (or, a glimpse into Toph's pregnancy with Izumi and Zuko's perseverance to do good.)

Also, thank you to everyone who liked/reposted the promotion for #TLSnovel! I never thought I would see this many people even (passingly) interested, so thank you again. I'm gonna get back to work on it as I'm falling into the world and really thinking about what is coming next.

Just finished the #Duskfade demo over in The Break Room, and it was better than I expected. Feeling pumped up to write so now I have to sit, figure out where the plot is going then continue from where I'd left off.

The absolute joy I get out of writing baby gays Izumi & Kya II is unmatched by the sheer drop of Maizula in my brain. Like, yes, Izumi gets to learn about the disaster of a lesbian her aunt was and hopefully gets good advice.

(1/2) I like to define soulmate as someone who brings color to your world. Thus far, in #IHnovel - I think Alba, Lilou, and Sigurd having the makings of being platonic soulmates because they bring something to eachother's world.

For #TLSnovel, Rhea and Lyra

Usually, it's that trust is something that can only breathe when doubt can be spoken about openly.

It comes up somewhat in #TLSnovel between the two main characters, where they have to grapple with time between them having changed parts of their relationship.

I don't know what the original writers wanted to do with Izumi, but I've picked her up like a puzzle that I can't turn loose. There's a lot that I want to explore from her perspective as the next in line to become Fire Lord.

And WHY that matters because of who she is.
