Day 969 - Today I'm starting the Fresh Eyes Challenge, from Lovelifedrawing. We start with a reference pic and then use a 2D model to recreate the pose, and then drawing the pose with simple shapes.

Ahh got it; makes more sense! I do think lovelifedrawing has really solid tips and an approachable way of presenting them. Some resources go overboard on memorizing anatomy in a truly terrifying way, as you've prob encountered.
