Alan’s Mum passed way just before 7am. I’m pleased she has gone peacefully.
I got to spend most of yesterday with her. She and Ian were married for 67 years & she missed him and wanted to join him.

Makes me realise, while I want him to go & not be in pain any more, the reality still sucks.

I woke from a dream of visiting the rest home & he walked out of the room to lunch (he couldn’t walk, but anyway).
Instead of going to the dining room I watched him stride off down a tree-lined road into a forest.
