It is not a good idea to store magnetic media (floppy disks for you young’ns) on the side of a metal file cabinet with a powerful magnet. It tends to flatten the bits making it very hard to read.

It is ok to use a pressure washer to clean crumbs out of a keyboard. Just be sure to put a towel in the dryer with it and use the permanent press setting.
