Fuck off Garmin! It was a 10 mile run regardless of what you’ve recorded in fact it felt like 20 miles. Rookie error underestimated how hot it was should have taken a gel or two and more water. Jeffing for last four km at 3/1. Really exhausted at the end but enjoyed the run the LoxleyValley is great

I thought it was looking hazy Eastward but the smell told me that it’s actually smoke blowing over from the fire on moorland on the A57 Snakepass between Ladybower Reservoir and Glossop about 15 miles away. I feel sorry for those who live closer to it all. 🙁

The Light at the End of the Tunnel
It’s actually sunlight reflecting off the surface of Damflask Reservoir. The surrounding trees definitely gave it a more enclosed feeling.
I don’t know if I could have captured it better if I’d planned it.
