Yes, and unfortunately that is a plausible reading of the sweeping powers of the Secretary of State under applicable law.
Anyone who is a LPR (Green Card holder) who has held off on becoming a citizen because LPR is "just as good", this is proof that it is not.

I assume a lot of these stories are not by design — not “hey go pursue the LPR-applicants married to Americans” — but just ICE going after the easiest things they can — whoever comes to their attention — without caring about actual dangerousness or priorities.
Folks are gonna dunk on the Trump voter and I get that but don’t sleep on the more disturbing part of the story:
