My masters research (community ecology) was funded at a LTREB location.
Sunsetting decades of time series data sets from LTERs is infuriating.
I would not be party to implementing this policy if I worked there.

Has anyone gone through the NSF LTREB (Long Term Research in Environmental Biology) renewal process (the renewal proposal for the 2nd 5 years) who would be willing to share a copy of their proposal? Our renewal is coming up & we're trying to get a sense of what successful renewals look like.

No worries. I appreciate the thought. Portal has been through this too where it’s an ongoing study but not always funded as an LTREB. If you aren’t writing the grants you often have no idea

I don't see any record of him having an LTREB since the late 1990s & no renewal for that one - am I missing something?
