In my mind Lucinien would still meet in a nonwol AU because Lucian is trying to do his gleaner job at some pond in the middle of nowhere and some jackass is inexplicably also there and he's doing some stupid bullshit with a spear that's scaring all the fish

I feel like I talk way more about Lucinien than just Lucian but in my defense my special interest is when strong men are gay for each other (guy who was really into JJBA as a teenager) (guy who was really into Transformers starting college) (guy who is currently really into professional wrestling)

That being said I think Lucinien pet names for each other are mostly just each other's names in a slightly fonder/softer tone of voice than they generally use. If they ever use actual pet names it would probably be somewhat rare, only in private, and nothing particularly saccharine

I need to just like write everything out regarding Lucinien lore in a google doc or something because I feel like every time I try to talk about it in a post with a character limit I don’t express exactly what I mean correctly and then I get irritated at myself

Also am leaning more and more towards the idea of the first half of DT being gay vacation time for Lucinien because letting Wuk Lamat go off on her own and get kidnapped and letting Gulool Ja Ja die are already so out of character for Lucian that it would arguably make more sense if he wasnt there
