Congratulations!! And thank you for the share!

2022 - the year I've really started focussing on painting, learning to enjoy the process, & allowing myself to spend time on a piece
2023 - exploring
2024 - doing more studies, & implementing their lessons
2025 - keeping at it, more work on colours
On a crude formation of rocks, darkening clouds over their heads, Astolfo is lying on the lap of Ludovic, covered only by a white cloth on his groin, making the marks of the Three Fingers visible throughout his body, the marks that he obtained the power to burn down the whole world. His eyes are closed, and he lies limp as if he were dead. Ludovic holds his face and hand, grieving for his lover and what he understands as his betrayal, to have his allegiances with the Frenzied Flame, which a fiery glory around Astolfo's head emphasises. Ludovic's own allegiance to the Erdtree is symbolised by the glory behind his head. His long white robe give him a pure, solemn feeling. Faded Erdleaf flowers surround them - Erdleaf flowers are attributes of Ludovic, and their fading shows his sorrow. Astolfo is originally the character of @/VenenumTea with whom we created his story with Ludovic's together. He has since given him to me. On a pile of skulls, bone fragments and broken Space Marine armour parts sit Loken and Torgaddon, half covered in rags, with Oaths of Moment on their bodies, their hands shackled. Torgaddon's throat is slit (the work of Aximand) and blood seeps from it, his hand is lifeless but Loken is still holding onto it, looking at him in despair. Behind them, almost like statues stand Horus with a laurel wreath on his head, and on his sides Abaddon, holding onto him as his idol, his eyes closed, and Aximand, barely wanting to look at the scene at their feet because of his still screaming conscience. A giant red Moon looms behind them and whispy clouds in otherwise complete darkness. A black-and-white painting of my OC Xander, a man in water up to his waist, approaching towards the viewer. His eyes are not visible, black liquid is pouring out from the place where his eyes should be. He has long dark hair that he shoves back, the sides of his head are shaved and tattooed, and he has several dark flame tattoos down his neck, shoulder and arms, along with a motif of a parchment and a skull holding a parchment with text on his left shoulder. Ports are visible on his body throughout (he is a Space Marine OC). The dark liquid from his eyes have accumulated behind him as he's approaching, and with his hand he seems to direct its flow forward, too. Behind him is a black hole enclosed in an armillary sphere with ornate rings. The front, horizontal ring has the Roman numerals XVI, XVII and XVIIII on it, there are two rings very tightly closing up the black hole, and two outer, concentric rings. The uppermost ring has the texts "XVI - LA MAISON|DIEV", "XVII - L'ESTOILLE" and "XVIIII - LE SOLEIL" on it, along with the alchemical symbols of sulphur, the element of fire, and the Sun, as well as the symbols of the following in pairs: the Sun - the zodiac sign of Leo, Jupiter - Sagittarius, Mars - Aries. The lower part of the rings is lit strongly. On the upper part of the painting, above the rings, the distortion of the black hole is visible on the background stars and interstellar medium as their images get "flattened" around the curved surface of the outermost ring. A coloured painting of my OC Xander, a pale man with long, dark hair, tattoos, and jewelry, sitting on an ornate brown-gold throne. He is wearing a golden draping over one of his shoulders, leaving the majority of his torso visible, along with a deep red draping on his lower body. His tattoos on his arms are visible, with dark fiery motifs, a skull with a parchment coming from its upper jaw, and the astrological symbols of Mars, Jupiter, and the Sun, the rulers of the Zodiac signs Aries, Sagittarius, and Leo, on his arm that he is resting on the armrest of the throne, with his hand facing us. He is wearing golden jewelry: two collars on his neck and three on each of his upper arms, and he is wearing nipple piercings with golden chains on his upper body. Behind his throne a segment of a simple wall is visible on the lower half of the painting, and on the upper half of the painting there are mountains and a blue sky with clouds above the wall. The back of his throne is like a gateway to the darkness of space, it is pitch black with small glowing stars seemingly coming out of it. He is slightly turning towards the side, and his eyes are covered with a whisp of yellowish flare that appear to connect him to the Sun behind his head.

Post an old #illustration you still like!

This portrait of Ludovic from February 2023 was such a big step in my painting journey!

A portrait of my OC Ludovic, a man with short brown hair and faint eyes, in a white robe that a pair of hands appear to pull off of him. Another pair of hands show signs of blessing to him, and another pair of hands above them are about to place a blood red crown of thorns on his head. A drop of blood from the crown falls on his cheek, giving the impression of a teardrop of blood. He covers his exposed chest with his own hands, holding 7 Erdleaf flowers, yellow-orange flowers with 6 petals that have a lot of meaning to him. A yellow glory is behind his head.

Thank you for the artshare! I think these paintings are the quintessential me. I love to incorporate symbolism, mystical and religious imagery into my work, I love elegance, dark and somber moods, and I aspire to make paintings that would make you want to spend time with to experience. 🖤

Ezekyle Abaddon in the Warp Gala, surrounded by Chaos. I had this idea for his Gala set to be the Galaxy itself, torn apart by the Great Rift, into a half that is completely cut from the Emperor's golden light (to be made of vantablack fabric), and the rest is still lit up by it, but not for long - the gold drops coming from Terra and his hands show how he wants to tear it all apart and make it bleed. And Chaos is creeping in. And I had to include Horus and the Mournival with the background colours: the deep blue-green sky, red clouds, golden-gray architecture, the Eye, the Moon phases, and a cinquefoil in the architecture. His roots are always there. A portrait of my (male-presenting on this painting) OC Ludovic, in a white robe that a pair of hands appear to pull off of him. My tribute painting to John Wick: Chapter 4 - you might catch some spoilers here. This is a close-up: Wick is standing in front of the altar of Église Saint-Eustache of Paris, the monstrance surrounding his head as if it were a glory. He's turning his back to us, looking down at a candle that has been put out, only smoke ascending from it. From the bottom and the top of the frame, rows of candles are present, with their flames towards him like small knives, as if the two rows were the maw of a creature, ready to close in on Wick.

Show how you draw people who are not only/not wholly a man or a woman!

Ludovic is intersex. He's AFAB, but growing up he had to learn to present male, and to feel guilty and ashamed for his body. With Astolfo's invaluable help and love he's slowly learning to accept and express himself as he is.
A portrait of my OC Ludovic, originally a Tarnished in Elden Ring as he is: victim, martyr, saint and saviour. He's surrounded by hands, two trying to put the crown of thorns on his head from which a blood drop drips on his face as if it was his own tear, two hands showing the sign of blessing towards him, two hands disrobing him from the white robe he's clothed in but he doesn't cling to it, he lets it be taken away - he's holding Erdleaf flowers that seem to stem from himself. A golden glory is behind his head. Ludovic sitting on a plain throne in his Night Maiden armour that Astolfo gifted him. He's holding a faded Erdleaf flower, and some are scattered on his shoulder and in his lap, too. The bandages he usually wears on his forearms are removed, and the long scars on each of his wrist towards his elbow is visible. He's presenting one hand, thorned vines forming from his blood. Behind his head a glory from thorned vines is formed. He has a rather soft, ambiguous smile on his face. Ludovic standing tied to a pole, with his arms behind his back. A white robe is sliding off of him, exposing him. He's surrounded by growing Erdleaf flowers, with a white glory behind his head.

[OC] Astolfo's obsession with finding the perfect flame lead him to the path of the Three Fingers.
But it's not over yet.

I based this painting on Annibale Carracci's Pieta from c. 1600. I painted it in July 2022 but it's still one of my favourite pieces I've made so far.

[OC] One moment of rest

Ludovic's momentary rest with silence and contemplation at the Great Waterfall Basin in Nokron. There's so much sorrow under the false night sky. And so much beauty.

An old piece of mine from August 2022.
See alt text for a bit of lore. 💗
Ludovic is standing at a site of Lost Grace in Nokron, his hand reaching out towards the light. Ludovic is wearing the gold-brown-white Night Maiden armour that Astolfo gifted him before his departure for his quest for strength, and Ludovic has been wandering ever since, alone, trying to do some good in this fading world, all the while he himself fading slowly from missing his love. This armour reminds him of his embrace, gives him traces of hope, and makes him go on. The false stars and the outlines of the structures of the city are visible in the background.

My Tarnished OC Ludovic standing at a site of Lost Grace in Nokron to seek a moment of respite, reaching towards the Grace with his hand. He's wearing the Night Maiden armour without the headdress. In the background the faint false stars of Nokron are visible with the silhouette of distant structures. He seems as if he were weighing his actions and the events of the past, with a heavy heart.

[OC] Blessing, guilt, repentance

My dearest Ludovic, a Tarnished prophet desperate for unconditional love, praying for absolution.
I based this on El Greco's Saint Francis Receiving the Stigmata. Ludovic's character got a lot of inspiration from the feel of his paintings, and Saint Francis himself.
My Tarnished OC Ludovic in his guilty attire surrounded by reddish clouds looks towards the midst of them to see a small golden silhouette pierced by a red lance, the image of Marika imprisoned in the Erdtree. His eyes and hands indicate his surrender and search for guidance. Behind him, on a rock, is an Erdleaf flower and petals, an attribute of Ludovic.

Saint Francis of Assisi on the edge of the word, on top of harsh rocks, with eerie clouds in the background. A Bible and a skull is on the rocks as well, with a wooden cross that he's facing, his hand on his heart and gesturing towards the cross, with a kind of desperation and passion. I based this painting on a statue depicting Saint Francis. I based this on a painting of baroque painter Orazio Gentileschi, Saint Francis and the Angel. I painted my OCs here, a knight holding a monk in his arms who has the stigmata visible on his hands, blood dripping to the ground from them, and tears falling from his eyes. Six swords are stabbed into the ground behind them, an allusion to the Six of Swords in Tarot - transformation, transfiguration, something divine. A portrait of my OC Ludovic, originally a Tarnished in Elden Ring as he is: victim, martyr, saint and saviour. He's surrounded by hands, two trying to put the crown of thorns on his head from which a blood drop drips on his face as if it was his own tear, two hands showing the sign of blessing towards him, two hands disrobing him from the white robe he's clothed in but he doesn't cling to it, he lets it be taken away - he's holding Erdleaf flowers that seem to stem from himself. greyscale coloured lineart of my ocs, Ludovic and Beowulf with their mother. it depicts two viking-like warriors wearing fur lined cloaks and identical armour, kneeling with their swords. both have halos behind their heads. behind them stands a woman with a veil made of fur. her face is out of frame and her hands rest on the kneeling men in what could be considered an affectionate gesture. behind her is a back piece made of a halo of swords.
