My favorite LXG movie anecdote was that Connery turned down two movies bc he didn’t understand the script (LOTR and Matrix, I think). He didn’t understand the LXG script either but vowed to take it after seeing what he missed out on

Not since "the league of extraordinary gentlemen" have I been so enthralled by schlock but at least LXG (ugh) had like sets and fight choreo and big dumb moments where big dumb things happened.

Laughing at the very real possibility that Sean Connery is "the guy from LXG" to someone born in like 1992.
I think everybody has a “Wallace Shawn from Young Sheldon” — my first one would probably be “Vincent Price, the guy who did the voice of Ratigan in The Great Mouse Detective”

Generative decisions in diffusion models are made at special critical time points.
Missing these points with a fast sampler results in loss of diversity. It's like missing an exit in the highway!

It's inside one of Scott Adsit's sketchbook. The guy collects LXG art and getting to this in person was wild.
