“Think accessibility and prioritize accessibility.” At the 2025 M-Enabling Summit, we connected with first-time attendee Derick Omari, CPACC - an IAAP - International Association of Accessibility Professionals member and an accessibility professional supporting inclusion and belonging at The World Bank. Global Accessibility, Powered By The Next Generation At the 2025 M-Enabling Summit, we were proud to welcome and talk with Annisa Permata Yudiani, a 2025 M-Enabling Student Ambassador from the University of Michigan, whose journey reflects the truly global nature of accessibility leadership. Originally from Indonesia and studying human-computer interaction in the U.S., Annisa represents a growing wave of young professionals who are choosing to embed a mission of accessibility within their career path. Inspired to attend M-Enabling by Indonesian accessibility advocate and pioneer Rahma U., Annisa joined the Student Ambassador Program to learn from global leaders and bring that knowledge back to strengthen accessibility efforts in her home country. Her experience reinforces what M-Enabling continues to show year after year: accessibility progress accelerates when emerging leaders are given access, mentorship, and a global platform. We’re proud that students and early-career professionals are playing an active role in shaping the future of inclusive technology, policy, and practice. Now in its second year, we are thrilled that a growing number of students are embracing accessibility and leaning into accessibility-focused careers globally.
