#macproblems This is life-changing.... for reasons I can't explain the app switcher was alternating between my displays. This default sets it to ALWAYS appear on all displays. How sensible!

In a terminal:

defaults write com.apple.dock appswitcher-all-displays -bool true

killall Dock
