I rather like GLADIATOR II.
It's perfectly fine nonsense with an epic Denzel performance, some fun side characters and Ridely going full ham.
Not as good as original but not bad either.
Thought to be fair I also don't worship the altar of GLADIATOR.
It's not even Top 10 Ridley in my world.

Finally came round to watching Gladiator 2. It IS a good movie. But holy moly does it repeat many things from the first film, the filmmakers played it way too safe with just trying to dip back into what was popular about the first one. Also, sharks in a colosseum is just silly.
