For your Tuesday night.
"Honky Cat" performed by Middle Aged Dad Jam Band.
(Can I be honest? I think I might prefer the MADJB version of this song to the Elton John original. Not by much but a little.)

Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass was fucking hilarious. David Wain has been making laugh for more than 30 years. Here’s a pic from when I met him after a Middle Aged Dad Jam Band show in 2023.

It's bonkers that the keyboard, bass, and drums were played by people in this. I think they were sequencers in the original.
As a former bass player, I know I'd be exhausted after this.

The Middle Aged Dad Jam Band's cover of "Copacabana" is on YouTube now. Ken Marino, David Wain, and a lineup that includes Hamilton's Jon Spurney and a trumpeter who's played with Ghostface Killah. It's completely unhinged and completely brilliant. zurl.co/Gyfce

I’m not a big fan of Billy Joel.
I’m not particularly fond of this song.
But the visible joy, and love of playing music in this performance put a big ol’ smile on my face.
