i would like to go to a magicfest or shoebox or some type of event sometime, but i own almost no paper magic cards (daily arena player) and also have almost no money and the world is rapidly crumbling

Weirdly enough I think I be skipping the MagicFest in a box this time around...to have more money to spend on Strixhaven prerelease.
If that not a better praise for a upcoming set, I don't know what is.

I was at Magicfest Minneapolis a few years ago and we went to 801 Chophouse, which was fantastic, so we decided to run it back!

Into the weekend with a Shivan Dragon for MagicFest Box Art. But you say, "that doesn't look like Donato's Shivan!" For this one they wanted me to lean into Greg Ruthowski's "Shivan Fire". You also say, "Hey, it's cropped weird!" You have to leave room for logos in packaging art. #fantasy #art

I also am not the visible person I was when Gavin started those. I had to turn down my first "creator" opportunity for a MagicFest last year in Atlanta as it was the week before the marathon. Since last year, I've also had emails that previously got responded to just dry up. A lot has happened
