Enjoyed a lovely al fresco meal of Mexican food in Victoria’s Chinatown at the patio of Maiiz. Lamb birria really took the edge off the chill!

It’s from a restaurant, Maiiz, downtown Victoria but they sell it at some markets here too. It’s nixtamalized corn so I’m curious if it digests better for me.

Maiiz Nixtamal in Chinatown has amazing Mexican food. Incredible hand made tortillas. Go for the confit duck tacos, you won’t regret it 😋

Have you tried Maiiz Nixtamal in Victoria? Their food is amazing! Everything handmade from scratch, including the tortilla dough. Highly recommend! It’s a good thing I don’t live in Victoria or I’d want to eat there once a week.

I mostly miss the fish tacos and stuff out there, and going for walks along the water. Also MaiiZ was pretty good. I never go out to eat anymore it is sad lol
