just learned that bamco arcade games are also on sega's allnet, which means that not only is maimai now completely nonfunctional, so are taiko no tatsujin and gundam exvs
arcades in japan may just be genuinely screwed if things aren't back up soon

the SEGA arcade online services being down actually makes me worry about some of those Japanese arcades because Maimai is easily the most popular rhythm game in said arcades rn and a lot of people just aren't bothering to play it without access to their data
