I've been beaten into a state of not caring how corny I sound. Kindness is love and love is the only thing that matters. Be kind to people. Also listen to CDs

You will never, ever, regret supporting your friends and loved ones.

Ever.

Do so with reckless abandon. Even if they don’t notice. Support them. Encourage them. Cheer them on.

Without apology and without reservation.

Trust me. Do it.

Be kind to a someone today. Everyone is walking around scared. Some are right on the edge and others push it to their unconscious but no one is immune. This plane has all the makings of hell but it can be the opposite when we connect with each other

Hey you know, just a gentle reminder. These are tough times. They’re tough for everyone in different ways, in different spectrums, because SO many important things are under attack.

Let’s try to be kind to one another, ok? It doesn’t cost much.

We’re stronger when we show each other grace.

I'm volunteering as the backup photographer for a local queer youth supportive event that lost funding recently; if you want to help these young folks out my lead photographer has started a fundraiser: secure.givelively.org/donate/louis...

“Love and kindness are the most punk thing you can do right now," David Byrne quoting writer / actor John Cameron Mitchell at #Coachella. “He’s right. Love and kindness are a form of resistance.”

Amen.

I do this too; together we can #MakeKindnessNormal
When I see folks on BlueSky mention some personal success, I make a point to reply to encourage and congratulate. It doesn't matter to me that they are strangers and I may never hear about their life again. What matters is that for the price of one reply, someone knows they're seen and supported.

Whether it's volunteering at a local school or taking soup to a sick neighbor, improving the welfare of others can also improve our own physical and mental health, a sizable body of research shows.
When kindness becomes a habit, it improves our health

Proud to be friends with people like Ray who are working to #MakeKindnessNormal
Over the weekend, I met probably ~3 dozen first time attendees at @defcon.bsky.social. And the three words that moved me more than any others: "Thank You, Ray."

Being kind is the one of the most rewarding things you can strive to be. It's absolutely not always easy.

But its worth it.
