This really puts stuff like publicly funded third spaces in perspective for me. It's so relatively cheap to build out community centers, gyms, makerspaces, studios etc.
The AI build-out is on track to become the biggest economic bet in U.S. history, dwarfing the investments made to fund other huge U.S. infrastructure projects such as the railroads, the highway system and the plumbing for the internet.

When I have a moment to breathe I wanna set up a site to tell people how to print from their libraries / makerspaces and have a repository of files that have been tested at specific printers at a library.

It's pretty amazing for a library but I can't hype up libraries enough. There are three in my area that have free makerspaces.
