What happens when you ask teenage girls what they want in parks?
They tell you.
They ask for places to sit together, to feel safe but not watched, to be active without competition and to connect with nature.
They are not unrealistic. They are just not usually asked.
Always ask.

![The themes are still depressingly similar: not enough facilities, nowhere to go, unsafe spaces and a general disapproval of teenagers that make them feel
unwelcome. But the best comment recently has to be this.
"at night we [the temporary community centre] are the only lit up thing - which is great if you're making a documentary about us but not for
walking home..."
Teenage girls are brilliant, let's talk to them even more.](https://cdn.bsky.app/img/feed_thumbnail/plain/did:plc:75p2kc4i2hwzaj63qquzukxl/bafkreid67xw7pzy4i4ueyn54anzw2s3f7jpjyaxpbougw2u65zi5gkekdi)

Dieses Hinsehen „wer braucht was“ und „wie können wir die Bedarfe erfüllen“, das ist es das unser Umfeld angenehm und attraktiv macht.
Eine gute Zusammenstellung, die weit über #Gender hinausgeht
