WELP 2025 was definitely not the best for my creativity, but this is mostly because i started doing other things, like sewing! (June's sketch is my fursona wearing a jacket i made!!)

i've been playing a lot of pokerogue again, and am now remembering the pokemon gijinkas i did months ago when i first started playing
zigzagoon (left) and vileplume (right)
#malusdraco-art #myArt #digitalArt #pokemon #gijinka #fanArt
A digital painting of a zigzagoon gijinka. she's got a black mask on, a furry striped jacket, no shirt (with tape over her nips), and a stolen sitrus berry in her hand. A full-body digital painting of a vileplume gijinka. She's wearing a simple but fitted black gown and has a leafy-green boa around her shoulders. The vileplume "hat" styled after the rafflesia plant, is tipped down low, almost obscuring one eye. She's got a long cigarette holder, for style.

halloween dragon!

#DigitalArt #HeavyPaint #malusdraco-art #MyArt #dragon #halloween
an undead dragon-like thing with a giant frill sporting eye spots and a hint of a smiling mouth stalks down an incline. its skin is gnarled, rotted, and its ribs protrude from a hollow abdomen like curved needles.

i definitely did make things this year! almost all of these are character tokens/icons though, which feels less significant.
if there's appetite for it i have summaries going back until 2016 i could share!
#artSummary2024 #digitalArt #malusdraco-art
Malus's year in review 2024. A compilation of art i've done this year with 12 pieces chosen, one for each month.

another icon i finished up yesterday. not sure i'm entirely happy with it but using my new values rules i think it's gotta be done

Oleander

a digital portrait of a very pale and skinny androgynous woman against a backdrop of tree branches. she's scowling and wearing a dark green tunic that exposes the long scar down the middle of her chest.

most of my work is these character-token like things, though, so this is probably what you'll see the most of in terms of finished art.
#malusdraco-art
a digital portrait of a white feathered dragon with a halo of blood. his closed eyes leak more blood. a digital portrait of a squat looking dragon with a skull formation on its head and highly-iridescent angular scales a digital portrait of a woman made of shadow, wearing a suit of armor, wielding an executioner's sword made of rainbow stained glass panels. speckles of bright colors shine in the smoke that makes up her body, and her eyes are bright like stained glass. a digital portrait of a sultry-looking woman with black hair and heterochromia in her eyes. she holds a white rose.

Hi I'm Malus (they/them) white genderqueer aroace

I'm an artist (mostly digital but I dabble) who draws... a LOT of different things, though mostly my OCs. my work skews pretty heavily fantasy/sci-fi, with frequent horror elements

I post all my art to the tag #malusdraco-art

#artSky #digitalArt

#malusdraco-art #nudity #pinup #insects #nsfw
a painting in blue and green tones of a housefly lady. notably, she has a fly head, long fly-like hairs all over her body, like normal body hair but stiff and long, and a pair of wings. she holds her hands together like flies do to press her boobs up.

in a bit of an art slump and noticing most of my work lacks any real punch, so here's an attempt to change that- two slightly different approaches, with sketch-first on the left and block-first on the right

#malusdraco-art #sketch
two high-contrast sketches of long haired women. there are large brushstrokes delineating shadows and major forms, and smaller lines for the details

these are older but here, have some more sketches.
this is Oleander, the chosen of the Fellwood. a witch who allegedly exchanged her heart for the powers of the forest

(yeah, she's a Howl-like)

#malusdraco-art #OCsky #sketch
a sketch of a sharp looking feminine character splitting through a fireball, turning it into branches and leaves. the magic strain has left her arm nearly taken over by roots popping out from under her skin. the same character in a slightly fancier outfit, with a headshot featuring a rough crown made of twisting branches the same character doing plant magic, summoning leaves and a vine seemingly from thin air. she's scowling.

#malusdraco-art #ocSky #sketch
a sketch of a bird man (wings on their back, plus arms and bird legs, and a tail) leaning over examining their hands. wings cover their face and they look kind of solemn a headshot sketch of the same character, showing off their multiple eyes, which aren't covered now by the wings on their head. they're also wearing a cute striped hat and a collared shirt

#malusdraco-art #ocSky #sketch
a trio of rough sketches of a bald masc-ish person- a sketch of them sitting, wearing loose, large clothes and a scarf, another close up of their head, featuring piercings and a face tattoo that resembles a circuit diagram, and a smaller icon sketch of a skull in a helmet, their avatar.
